01 · Starting point
The vision
The backyard’s slope and relationship to the water limited how comfortably the property could be used. Reworking it meant creating stronger connections between the upper yard, gathering areas and the shoreline without losing the character of the setting.
02 · Outdoor experience
Designed around enjoyment
The finished layout creates a natural progression toward the water. Stone steps, lawn and a defined fire-pit area give the family comfortable places to move, gather and enjoy the view throughout the year.
03 · Site coordination
Details that make the space work
Grade transitions, durable steps, retaining edges and final surface restoration were coordinated so the new spaces feel settled into the slope and remain practical for everyday use.
