The vision
The property needed a more useful relationship between the home and the backyard. The goal was to make the available space feel larger, more connected and ready for swimming, relaxing and gathering.

Designed around enjoyment
DSLD organized the backyard around a compact custom pool, then connected it to the fire pit, pergola, patio and landscape so every part of the property contributes to one complete outdoor experience.

Details that make the space work
Pool placement, grades, drainage, hardscape transitions and construction sequencing were coordinated within the existing residential site. Careful planning allowed the major features to work together without making the backyard feel crowded.
